  1. Poor bee! Did you have to kill it? It’s not funny and to kill it with your Bible is even less funny. Sorry I will never buy your book.

    1. I’m with you Lilla. I didn’t find the story all that funny. When it came to killing to be with the Bible, that was enough for me. I doubt that God saw any humor in that. I will never buy the book either.

    2. See – this is the problem. Too many of us are focusing on one piece of a story and missing the point of a story. Aren’t things so very divisive because we pick one thing we disagree with and plug our ears to everything else. We are struggling with seeing the bigger picture.
We miss out on the possible joy and laughter- both of which have been created by God!- because we stumbled on that one thing. I pray that we can all loosen up and breathe!! Let’s learn to laugh with each other and the silly messes we get ourselves in! I’m convinced we’d all be gone by now if God did not have such a huge sense of humor!!!!!!

  2. I agree with Lilla…killing the bee, with a Bible, no less, is not good. They are extraordinary creations. My step-father even wrote a book about them.

  3. I’m with you Ann! He didn’t destroy the hive – just the bee – as any kid would have done – with whatever was at his disposal to do so! Think I’ll order the book

  4. Love it!! Sounds like a great devotional! Thanks for using your gifts to bless others. 🙂

  5. Oh my goodness! Thank you, Ann. We all were kids at one time or another and probably would have done the very same thing Ken did.
Thank you, Ken for all of the times you have made me belly- laugh in the midst of tears! God has given you a gift. Continue to use it for His glory. I appreciate what the Father does through you and I most definitely will purchase your new devotional book!

  6. This brought back memories. I used this today when doing devotion with the Interdisciplinary team at hospice. We enjoyed it.

  7. Some of you lilla, Jan and Ian need a light hearted book or an attitude adjustment, my lord, really, he was a kid but I can see instead of seeing some humor you chose to live in pessimism, I bet your glass is always half empty, lord help you
