Nudge me!

New York Times reports Worker dead at desk for five days.

George Turklebaum had been employed as a proofreader at a New York firm for thirty years. According to an article published by the New York Times, he had a heart attack in the open-plan office he shared with 23 other workers. He passed away on Monday but nobody noticed until Saturday, five days later, when an office cleaner asked why he was working during the weekend and discovered he was dead. His boss said he was always the first to come in the morning and the last to leave at night. He was always absorbed in his work and kept to himself. The Times article concluded with this statement. “You may want to give your co-workers a nudge occasionally.”

That is profound.

Keep me on track friends. Let me know you care. Nudge me!

  1. Is that why FB added the poke feature?
Okay; so I’ll nudge your pudge created from fudge which I do not judge, yet if it causes you to trudge through sludge, I hope you don’t turn into a drudge.
    Enough, already!
