Never call yourself stupid. Say you were naive. (In person, I would say this with a light-hearted tone, but in all seriousness with a playfully wagging finger. It’s hard to portray that in an email). That’s what I have to tell myself all the time. Satan wants to put us down, but we need to tell him the truth! Every time he tells me that I made a stupid mistake by getting married, I have to remind him that I was naive. (It ended in divorce, so it’s easy for me to beat myself up and blame myself). Proverbs 27:17 in Christ’s love.
I need people like you to help me see the lighter side of life because sometimes I can be too serious. 🙂 Thanks!
