I Yelled, “BOO” and He Died!

It’s Lighten Up Monday!

Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.  My dad is in heaven and now knows I was telling the truth.  This clip is from “Super Sheep” our most popular DVD ever produced.

I will not answer any e-mails asking if this is true. You can find out the rest of the story on the “Super Sheep DVD”

However, I would like to know if there has ever been a time you felt “Scared to Death!”

If you enjoyed this you might also enjoy Ken’s book “Sheep Tales”  “Bible stories told from the perspective of the animals who where there.”

  1. I’m scared to death right now, as I have to preach for a class in about 3 hours. If anything, I now have a new-found respect for you and other speakers; I don’t know how you do it, but thanks for being so great at it and being faithful to spreading God’s Word!

      1. Thank you so much! It actually went really well, considering I could have practiced a lot more. 🙂

  2. Panic— finding myself lost in a country where I had a working vocabulary of about 50 words… I could ask directions to the nearest bathroom, count to ten, say please and thank you and nice to meet you, and I could cry in just about any language. But I couldn’t find the right bus to take me across town.

Or just last Saturday night. I was home alone when I heard heavy footsteps on my porch, and my porch furniture getting pushed around. Were they trying to get in through my bedroom window? Would they cut the screen? Little old brave me opened the front door, shaking in my boots (and what would I have done if it had really been a burglar) to find two adult javalina and a baby javalina rummaging around just a few feet away from me. I didn’t think to shout “Boo!” Good thing! They probably would have charged to protect their baby from the crazy lady.

  3. Dear Ken,
When did your father enter into his eternal life with Christ? The first time you and I corresponded, it was about a certain well-known televangelist’s horrible comments on Alzheimer’s disease. Your father was still living then. My father died of Alzheimer’s in 1989 and I still miss him. My heart goes out to you, but we both know our dads would not want to be back here. They are joyfully waiting for us to join the holy and eternal family reunion in Heaven.
    Sincerely,
    Holly Gatling

  4. Back in the 60’s my mother was going to walk into the laundry room but saw a mouse coming. She screamed and ran next door to the neighbor, who was an elderly man. When he ca
me back with her, the mouse was in the same spot – dead! She scared him to death!
