  1. Ken.. that is such a great story and illustration on how we forget patience, and paying attention to what God wants from us and not what we want… I’m so going to have to use this story with my youth group.

Thanks doug, I hope you find it useful. I go back to the application over and over in my life.

  2. Ken,

Such a great illustration and excellent points! It does amaze me how in the midst of our turmoil, we frustrate ourselves further by considering the worst options.

Excellent story and way to bring the points home.

It is so easy to become so focused on what we want that we are blinded to what is available.

  5. Great illustration with so many applications. I’ve also been on one of those elevators, noticed that there were two doors, and been really anxious about embarrassing myself by facing the wrong way. (There’s probably an application there, too, though I’m not sure I’ve had enough caffeine, yet, to know what it is.)

  6. Great story and embarrasing, but sometimes God lets us be humbled and teaches lessons at that. LOL
I want to congratulate you on how God has blessed your mission in life, I read your Forbes article and just know when Gods people are blessed it creates joy in his other children

  7. Thank you so much!
The Lord has really brought me through different doors, and different ones than I expected!
I felt His leading one one way, and the ways that He has lead me, and where. With many hard lessons along the way, yet I could not have imagined being where He has brought me. To God be the Glory!

  8. Ken this is great story for remove the curtains from our eyes and see that there is so many oportunities in our lives, but we must be sure to see them, or they’ll pass away
