Get a Life

Welcome to Lighten Up Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! If you have grown children you will certainly relate to this story…

  1. Oh, Ken, I can so relate. My eyes sweat (manly way of saying I wept like a small child) all the way down the aisle of both daughters weddings. Take a listen to a song I wrote about my girls and grandkids. It’s titled “What Are They Leaving With?”

Thanks for what you do and Merry Christmas.

  2. I can relate to this. I’ve been going through the same thing with my two daughters. I drop them off at their high school in the morning. I say, “I love you!” to the two of them. They just mumble something like, “Yeah, sure, mom.” It hurts a lot. Your video gave me hope that this is just a stage and of course laughing is great. Thanks.

  3. Oh man that’s funny! I was blessed though – my two sons didn’t put me through that – at least not as long as you went through. It is a HUMONGOUS blessing to have your kids actually tell you that they love you. It can turn a full grown macho man into a blubbering puddle.
